Inserting Your Art
Step 1
Open The Slit Of Your Wooden Frame.
step 2
With Your Gloves Tilt Your Frame & Carefully Remove Your Glass Panels
Step 3
Place Both Glass Panels Face Down Next To Each Other
Step 4
Place Your Art Face First Onto 1 of the 2 Glass Panels, Measure & Centre Your Art So That Your Floating Border Is Even All Around.
Step 5.1
Remove the white film from your glue dot and space the removable glue dots evenly to the back of your art by placing the transparent film with the glue dot to the back of the art.Â
Step 5.2
Once you’ve secured enough glue dots, gently rub the transparent film and peel off the transparent film so that only the glue dot is left.
The bigger the art, the more glue dots will be required but it’s advised to secure all 4 corners and if your art is bigger you can add another glue dot in between the corners. Generally between 4-8 should be sufficient.
Â
Step 5.3
These glue dots will keep your art from slipping down once the frame is upright. Once you’ve secured enough glue dots to the back of your art you can move on to the next step.Â
Step 6
Â
Gently Cover Your Art By Placing The Second Glass Panel On Top Of The Other, Remember To Use Your Gloves To Avoid Fingerprints.
Step 7
Check That Your Art Is Evenly Spaced And Also Remember To Oriënt
Which Way Is Up Before Inserting It Into The Frame.
Step 8
With Your Gloves, Gently Slide Both Panels With Your Art Into Your Timber Frame.
Remember To Support Both Glass Sheets At The Bottom Whilst You Slowly Slide It Into The Frame.
Once Your Glas Is Almost Fully Inserted, Turn Your Frame On Its Side To Slide In The Last Bit In Order To Avoid The Glass From Falling The Last Couple Of Centimeters.
Step 9
Do A Final Check To See That Everything Is Centred And Close The Top Slit.
